Today was my last Living and Dying class (and my last day of class for the summer (where the ruddy hell did the last six weeks go? O.o ). In class, we presented our case studies and that was it. It was a good class, short too.
I needed to finish my paper, so I went back to my room after class. And I did it! In shorter time than I expected it to take too. I'm so proud of myself :D
As Nicole worked on her paper for her Shakespeare class, I needed to get another adaptor so I can carge my camera. It was a beautiful day, so it was fun to walk around King's Road. I also got the forms to get oyster cards for my mom, dad, Ricky and Uncle Mike. I had to sign the forms for them - that was entertaining. Dad's wasn't too bad, but my mom's was laughably terrible. I have never been able to imitate her signature, but this was worse than normal. I used my left hand for Ricky's, but I have no idea what Uncle Mike's signature looked like so I just did whatever.
When Nicole finished her paper, we went to Primark (finally :] ). It's a store here that we've been wanting to go to for a while - cute clothes at cheap prices. I found a cute shirt :] It was pretty crowded there, it felt like an H&M.
After Primark, we went to grab some provisions and I think we should be good until the end, or maybe I'll just need some milk for my cereal. (Again - where did all the time go??)
When getting the oyster cards, I didn't even need my oddly signed forms O.o And buying 4 oyster cards and topping up another one required 5 different transactions. That was kinda annoying, but I guess it worked.
Once back in our room, Nicole and I have been watching Bones episodes all afternoon and evening. We both love Bones and Booth together, as well as Angela and Hodgens. We've been enjoying it :D
Well, this is a rather short entry. It was an excellent day, though :D
No class tomorrow - I need to turn in my paper and then I might go over to the Natural History Museum.
Till then,
-Carlito
